Islandhopping on a Comfort Ship Features Our Comfort Ships are traditional wooden ships with authentic nautical charm and true character. At aprx. 7 – 8 m² the cabins are smaller but fitted lovingly with all the necessities. Most cabins have ground level beds at the same height. Some cabins also offer an additional bed making it possible to share the space as a trio. Every cabin has a private bathroom with an all-in-one shower, washbasin and WC. Life on board Meals on board are served in the comfortable saloon, a communal space great for socializing. Aside from mealtimes it is a great space to enjoy a coffee, immerse yourself in conversation or involve yourself in one of the exciting board games available to guests on board. In the evening a drink can be ordered at the bar and with a bit of luck a talented guitarist can bring the boat to life with a sea shanty of two. On deck a selection of comfortable sitting areas can be found either in the shade or out in the open. There is a suitable space for everyone on board to enjoy the crossing from one island to another after an active bike tour on land. Special features Our fleet of Comfort Ships consists largely of the most seasoned ships over all categories. These represent Islandhopping by Bike & Boat in its most original form. Each Comfort Ship also looks back on its own eventful history, before it was creatively remodeled for passenger cruises. Most of the captains and crew have worked together as a team on these ships for many years.
